**West Gate Closure** Please Be Advised
The West Gate (aka Jones Gate) will close to inbound/outbound vehicle traffic starting on 1 Jan 17, and will remain closed to vehicle traffic until the Allentown Road paving project resumes in Spring 2017; however, the gate will remain open to pedestrian-only traffic from 0600-1800 Mon-Fri.
BACKGROUND: Prior to April 2016, the West Gate was a pedestrian-only gate manned to allow bus riders access to the installation. The West Gate is not designated as a primary vehicle access gate and was opened for vehicle traffic in April 2016 to alleviate traffic congestion near the Main Gate while the Allentown Road paving project was in progress.
**Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics & Surgery Center Closure** Please Be Advised
Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgery Center (MGMCSC) will be closed for a Family Day on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016 and for observance of New Year’s Day on Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.
There will be no scheduled appointments, pharmacy or laboratory services. Prescription refills requested before noon on Dec. 29 will be available for pickup after noon on Jan. 3. Prescription refills requested after noon on Dec. 29 will be available for pickup after noon on Jan. 4.
The Emergent Care Center (ECC) will remain open to provide emergency and urgent care services throughout the holiday weekend.
The Nurse Advice Line (NAL) is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for free medical information and advice for TRICARE beneficiaries. To reach the NAL call 1 (888) 999-1212, option 1-4.
If your condition is not urgent and you can wait for treatment, please contact the appointment line at 1-888-999-1212 on Tuesday to schedule an appointment, use your MiCare account to request an appointment, or book your own appointment online at TRICAREonline.com.
**For Your Information: Conversion of IBM Lotus Forms to PDF** Please Be Advised
Effective March 2017, the Air Force is transitioning from IBM Lotus forms (.xfdl format) to Adobe Portable Document Format (.pdf). The conversion process of IBM Lotus Forms to the pdf format for documents stored in the Automated Records Management System and viewed through Personnel Records Display Application (PRDA) has been initiated and is currently underway. It is imperative that customers utilize the most current version of forms listed on Air Force e-Publishing.
