The Department of Defense recognizes that quality financial education is key to making an informed decision as to whether a service member should opt-into the blended or remain under the current system. More than 740,000 currently serving active-duty members and 176,000 drilling Reserve and National Guard members are expected to opt in to the New Blended Retirement System when the choice becomes available in 2018.

Behavioral health consultants at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgical Center are offering a Marriage Checkup as part of a research study sponsored by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Material Command (USAMRMC). AFPAAS Reminder
What is AFPAAS? The Air Force Personnel Accountability and Assessment System is the Air Force’s web-based tool for initial accounting and ongoing support of Airmen after a disaster event.  As a reminder, all personnel (active duty, guard/reservists on AD, DoD & NAF civilians, drilling / paid reservists) should log in and ensure their contact information as well as family/dependent information is correct.  Units should incorporate into unit in/out processing checklists and Unit Commanders are responsible to brief personnel in their units of the importance and assistance in utilizing the system.  Questions?  Contact the 11 FSS Installation Personnel Readiness at usaf.jbanafw.afdw-staff.mbx.11-fss-fsoxi-ipr@mail.mil or via phone at 981-5922.  Update your information at: https://afpaas.af.mil.
