Women’s Mentorship Forum

Every 4th Friday of the Month

May’s discussion topic is “Turning Challenges into Growth Opportunities.” The Women’s Mentorship Forum is an informal group designed to bring together both military and civilian women from JBA and the NCR to provide each participant the opportunity to: present items for discussion, share personal success stories, provide and receive group mentorship, and encourage personal and professional growth.

Up to date and proven strategies to help you lose weight and keep it off. Time will be spent with a nutritionist. Please, dress comfortably to participate in an exercise demonstration. Walk-ins welcome for TRICARE beneficiaries only.

 779th MDG Training Day

1st Wednesday Each Month – 779th MDG training day

The 779th MDG will be open, but with limited services and extended wait times due to military training requirements. Also to note, beginning in July, training day will move to the 2nd Thursday of each month.

Diabetes Self-Management Education Class

A two-part program for newly diagnosed or long-term diabetics the First and Second Tuesday of Each Month (1st 0800-1230 and 2nd 0800-1230)

Marriage Check-up

Behavioral health consultants at Malcolm Grow Medical Clinics and Surgical Center are offering a Marriage Checkup as part of a research study sponsored by the U.S. Army Medical Research and Material Command (USAMRMC). The Checkup is offered to Active duty and their spouse who would like to find out more about the health of their marriage. The Marriage Checkup will give you the tools and resources to strengthen your connection.

Military Readiness Reminder/AEFIs:

A friendly reminder for all military personnel, that per AFI 10-401, Commanders will assign the AEFI within 15 days of the members’ Date Arrived Station (DAS).

Work with your Commanders Support Staff (CSS) to ensure the updates are completed for you and your unit.  If you do not have a CSS or Personnelists with MilPDS access, please contact the 11 FSS Installation Personnel Readiness.
